Powder Snowboarding

The history of snowboarding can be traced from the Snurfer to Dimitrije Milovich, who began making the first boards. There is nothing quite like riding down fresh powder. It requires a different way of riding so as the rider does not sink and a powder-specific board, with wider waists, wide noses, and rocker shaped to prevent the edges from catching. A boarder’s best chance of finding loose snow is in Niesko, Japan or the Rocky Mountains in North America. Red Bull Supernatural is one of the big competitions which tests the athletes abilities to ride powder. .
