Keelboating

Keelboats are boats designed for navigating along rivers and canals, and were originally used for water transportation. In the early days they were large and slow and needed many people to move them. Today they look like long, wide, hollowed-out cigars and their length of 20 to 30 feet make them the perfect size for people who want to try sailing in something larger than a small dingy. Designed with a keel along the bottom of the boatês hull, the new keelboats combine speed with the ease of sailing (and they look pretty stylish too). .
