Cable Wakeboarding

Cable wakeboarding is the practice of wakeboarding without the need for a boat _ the rider is pulled along by a cable system. The main attraction of cable wakeboarding is that it allows for all of the benefits of standard wakeboarding without the expense of a speedboat. The cable is suspended in the air to a number of masts, usually on a lake. The wakeboarder then takes hold of the cable and the experience is virtually identical to wakeboarding with a boat. Cable wakeboarding has become very popular as it has allowed participants with less access to the sea or to boats to be able to enjoy wakeboarding..
