Base Jumping

For over 900 years people have been jumping off stationary objects and pulling a parachute open last minute to cushion their fall. B.A.S.E stands for Building's, Antennaes, Spans, and Earth. It officially started with a jump off El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Every year, jumpers gather in Kuala Lumpur to leap from the 300-metre high KL Tower. The International Tower Jump competition took place in the Malaysia Capital for the 13th year this year. Wingsuit flying is the latest phenomenon to fall under the BASE title. The special jumpsuit adds more lift and therefore glide to the BASE experience. Wingsuit flying ends with a parachute opening..
